Planting and harvest

Planting is one USDG transfer into the pot of the current season. Harvest is one call after the season ends, and the keeper makes it for you at 00:10 UTC.

Plant a plot

1. Open the field map or a crop page and connect a wallet on Robinhood Chain.
2. Choose the crop, the season (daily or 7-day) and the side (long or short).
3. Enter an amount in USDG (minimum 0.01). The first plot asks you to approve USDG for the market.
4. Confirm. The plot appears on the map within a minute.

You can plant several times in the same season and on both sides; the cap counts everything you planted in that season of that crop.

Payout math

gross  = mine + mine * losingPot / winningPot
fee    = gross * feeBps / 10000        // 100, 50 or 0
payout = gross - fee

All divisions round down, so the sum of payouts and fees never exceeds the pot. The fee of a position is the highest tier fee seen at any of its plants.

Harvest

harvest(owner, crop, kind, season) can be called by anyone and always pays the owner. The keeper calls it for every winning or refunded plot after settlement. From the app, "Your plots" lists the last eight daily and three weekly seasons with a harvest button for anything still unpaid.
