Terms of service

These terms cover your use of the GPU Acres website, its app, its APIs (including the x402 endpoint and the MCP server), its SDK and the GPU Acres smart contracts. By using any of them you accept these terms.

What GPU Acres is

GPU Acres is software. It publishes an hourly GPU rental price index and runs parimutuel pots on that index through smart contracts on Robinhood Chain. The operator of the site does not hold your funds outside those contracts, does not act as a broker, exchange, adviser or counterparty, and does not take the other side of any plot.

Eligibility

You must be of legal age where you live and allowed by your local law to use prediction or parimutuel markets settled in digital assets. You may not use GPU Acres from a jurisdiction where this is prohibited, or if you are subject to sanctions. You are responsible for any taxes on your results.

Risk

  • A plot can lose its whole amount. Parimutuel payouts depend on how each pot is split, which changes until planting closes.
  • The index depends on third-party data (Vast.ai, RunPod). A source can fail, change its API or publish wrong prices; the index method in the docs describes what happens then.
  • Smart contracts can contain bugs. Transactions on a blockchain are final.
  • $ACRES is a utility token for plot caps, harvest fees and a share of fees. Its value can go to zero. Nothing on this site is investment, legal or tax advice.

Fees

The market keeps a harvest fee of 1% of each winning payout (0.5% or 0% by stake tier, nothing on refunds). Fees are split between $ACRES stakers and a buy and burn of $ACRES, as described in the docs. Network fees are yours.

Names and marks

NVIDIA, H100, H200, A100 and GeForce RTX are trademarks of NVIDIA Corporation and are used here only to name the GPU models whose rental prices are indexed. Vast.ai and RunPod are named as public data sources. GPU Acres is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by NVIDIA, Vast.ai, RunPod, Uniswap, Coinbase, Paxos or any other company named on the site.

Acceptable use

Do not attack, overload or scrape the site beyond normal API use, do not try to manipulate the index sources, and do not use GPU Acres to launder funds. The operator may block access to the website and APIs for abuse; the contracts stay available to anyone.

Liability

The software is provided as is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for losses from plots, index errors, contract bugs, network outages or third-party data. Where liability cannot be excluded it is limited to the fees you paid to the protocol in the previous three months.
